The Mitsubishi AJ71UC24 computer link module supports computer links in compatible Mitsubishi programmable controllers. Its principal purpose is to support data exchange functions in industrial control systems. The AJ71UC24 module operates with a current consumption rating of 0.3 Amps at 5 Volts DC and supports 32 occupied I/O. The AJ71UC24 module comes with an RS-232C port and an RS-422/485 port for transmitting data and connecting to other devices. High-volume data flow in a programmable controller is enabled by the AJ71UC24 computer link module because it supports a computer link option and a multidrop link option. The AJ71UC24 module can tolerate an operating temperature range from 0 degrees Celsius to 55 degrees Celsius, and it can be stored in a temperature range of -20 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius. It can be used and stored in a variety of industrial settings, but it operates best at moderate temperatures in clean environments. In addition, the AJ71UC24 module supports a variety of transmission distance capabilities, making it adaptable to the requirements of a wide range of applications. The RS-232C channel supports a transmission distance of up to 15 meters, while the RS-422/485 channel supports a transmission distance of up to 500 meters. The AJ71UC24 computer link module can support half-duplex communication methods and full-duplex communication methods. This module has switches that control several of its settings. These switches can be used to select its data format and its transmission speed (up to 19,200 bps). The AJ71UC24 computer link module weighs approximately 0.63 kilograms.
