The Mitsubishi AJ65BT-64AD converter module is designed to meet the demanding requirements of different types of industrial automation systems. This converter module handles A/D or analog/digital types of signal conversions for general-purpose Mitsubishi PLC systems. The AJ65BT-64AD module receives analog voltage input signals or analog current input signals from a PLC’s external source, and it converts these signals into digital values. The supported digital values have 16-bit encoded binary data and data area ratings of 12-bits. The AJ65BT-64AD module can support A/D conversions with up to 4 channels at 1 time. The users of this conversion module can select whether each channel operates with current input or voltage input. The users of the AJ65BT-64AD module can also program every channel to enable or to prohibit A/D conversions. This module can be connected to a master device and installed in a control board, and it should be installed in a clean environment with moderate ambient temperatures. The AJ65BT-64AD module can support an analog input voltage rating of -10V DC to 0V DC to 10V DC. It can also support an analog input current rating of -20 mA to 0 mA to 20 mA DC. Its maximum conversion speed per channel is 1 millisecond. Its connection terminal is a terminal block that has 27 points. The AJ65BT-64AD module consumes about 0.12 Amps of current internally at 24V DC. This module supports DIN rail mounting, and it is compatible with several DIN rail models. The AJ65BT-64AD converter module uses an external power supply with a voltage range from 18 to 30V DC.
