Mitsubishi's AD61S1 high-speed counter module is a powerful and flexible piece of hardware that may be used for a wide variety of tasks requiring accurate and fast pulse counting. Various commercial applications can make use of the AD61S1 module’s high-tech features and pulse-counting functions. The module accepts either a single-phase or 2-phase input signal option. It can count from 0 to 16,777,215 decimal pulses with a 24-bit binary option. It has 2 channels. With a counting rate of 10,000 pulses per second (PPS) for 1-phase input and 7,000 PPS for 2-phase input, the AD61S1 module supports precise and dependable pulse counting in every application. There are several counting options available thanks to the AD61S1 counter module's up/down preset counter option and ring counter function. Pulse widths of 100 microseconds with 1-phase input and 142 microseconds with 2-phase input are supported by this module. The AD61S1 module comes with 32 I/O points. The AD61S1 high-speed counter module can count pulses that have long rise times and long fall times accurately. It is compatible with a variety of Mitsubishi CPUs in a variety of Mitsubishi programmable controllers. It weighs about 0.5 kilograms. The AD61S1 module supports an external input preset rating of 12/24 Volts DC with 3/6 mA, or 5 Volts DC with 5 mA. It also supports external input count disable ratings of 12/24 Volts DC with 3/6 mA, or 5 Volts DC with 5 mA. The AD61S1 module’s external output or coincidence output rating is 12/24 Volts DC with 0.5 A with a transistor or open collector setup.
