The Mitsubishi A2USCPU module is a Central Processing Unit (CPU) module. This CPU module was developed for applications in the Mitsubishi MELSEC-A series Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). The A2USCPU is an essential component of any Mitsubishi MELSEC-A series PLC system because it is the principal unit that is responsible for managing the PLC's overall operations. It consumes 0.32 Amps of current when it operates at 5 Volts DC. The A2USCPU CPU module can support up to 512 I/O points and up to 8192 I/O device points in a PLC system. This allows it to control a variety of input and output devices in a variety of applications. The A2USCPU CPU module is lightweight. It weighs about 0.41 kg and its compact dimensions are 5.12 inches x 2.15 inches x 3.69 inches. The A2USCPU CPU module can support keyword registration. It can also support a print title registration with up to 128 characters. The A2USCPU CPU module comes with 64K bytes of built-in RAM. Its main sequence program capacity in steps is 14K steps maximum. The A2USCPU CPU module does not support any sub sequence program options. Its processing speed is 0.2 microseconds per step when it processes sequence instructions. The A2USCPU CPU module’s programming language options include the logic symbol language, the relay symbol language, the MELSAP-II (SFC) language, and a language that is dedicated to sequence control. The A2USCPU CPU module supports a constant scanning option that can be set to values between 10 ms and 190 ms in increments of 10 ms.
