The Mitsubishi A2NCPU Programmable Controller (PLC) is a general-purpose control device that contains a CPU. This PLC unit was designed to improve the efficiency of various industrial application processes in its control system. The A2NCPU controller can store 14K steps of program data, and it can support different numbers of I/O points, depending on the system or application. At 5 Volts DC, the rated current consumption of the A2NCPU controller is 0.73 Amperes. It needs a compatible RAM/ROM type of memory cassette to be installed before it can operate, and its memory cassette can be arranged separately. Its maximum memory capacity is 448K bytes. The A2NCPU controller can support a 3rd extension stage in a control system. Its I/O module capacity is 32 I/O modules, and it can specifically host up to 512 I/O points at the same time. The A2NCPU controller uses a sequence program type of control method. It can support a direct mode or a refresh mode for its I/O control mode. The A2NCPU controller supports a sequence instruction processing speed of 1 to 2.3 microseconds per step when it operates with a direct I/O control mode. When it operates with a refresh I/O control mode, the A2NCPU controller supports a sequence instruction processing speed of 1 microsecond per step. Its programming language options include a programming language that is dedicated to sequence control, a logic symbol programming language, and a relay symbol programming language. The A2NCPU controller supports a watchdog timer feature, and this timer feature can be set at 10 to 2000 milliseconds.
