The Mitsubishi A1SY60 module is an output module that belongs to the MELSEC AnS series. It is equipped with 16 transistor outputs. The operating voltage range is 21.6 to 26.4 Volts DC, and the rated load voltage is 24 Volts DC. The A1SY60 module uses photocoupler isolation as its isolation method. The maximum allowed rush current is 8 Amps for 10 milliseconds or less. The leakage current at an OFF circuit is 0.1 milliamps or less. The maximum voltage drop at an ON circuit is 0.9 Volts DC at 2 Amps and 1.5 Volts DC at 0.5 Amps. The ON state to OFF state response time is 2 milliseconds or less. The OFF state to ON state response time is 2 milliseconds or less. The A1SY60 module uses a Zener diode for surge absorption. A fuse rated for 5 Amps is installed for overcurrent protection. The A1SY60 output module’s fuse capacity rating is 50 Amps. An LED on the module turns on when the fuse blows. LED indicators are also provided on the front panel for output status indication. A 20-point terminal block provides external connections. Mitsubishi recommends a 0.75 to 1.25 mm2 wire size for the module’s wires. The insulation withstand voltage rating is 500 Volts AC. The noise immunity rating is 500 Volts AC. The internal current consumption rating is 120 milliamps at 5 Volts DC in a typical application with all of the outputs powered ON. The weight of the A1SY60 output module is 0.25 kilograms. Only properly trained personnel should handle the A1SY60 module and make external connections to it.
