The A1SY42P is a Mitsubishi MELSEC A series output module. This module replaces the discontinued A1SY42 module. Its weight is approximately 0.17 kilograms. When all output points are in the ON state, the internal current consumption rating of the module is 170 milliamps at 5 Volts DC. The load voltage rating is 12/24 Volts DC and the external power supply current rating is 14 milliamps. The terminal block conversion units compatible with this module are the A6TBXY36 and A6TBXY54 units. Mitsubishi manufactures 2 external wiring connectors for the module. These connectors support soldering. The applicable wire size is 0.3 square millimeters. The A1SY42P module has a 40-pin connector for external connections. Error indication or display is not available on the module. Thermal protection is available for each output point. Short circuit protection is also available for each output point. There are a total of 64 output points on the module, with 32 points per common. The operating voltage range is 10.2 to 30.4 Volts DC. The peak load current rating is 0.1 Amps per point and 2 Amps per common. A safety fuse is not installed on the A1SY42P module. A Zener diode provides surge suppression. The response time for the ON to OFF and OFF to ON states is 1 milliseconds or less each. The peak voltage drop during the ON state is typically 0.1 Volts DC at 0.1 Amps and 0.2 Volts DC maximum at 0.1 Amps. The leakage current rating during the OFF state is 0.1 milliamps or less. An LED indicator is available which provides ON state indication.
