The Mitsubishi A1SY42 is a transistor leakage-type output module. This module, created for industrial use, offers a dependable and effective means of managing external devices. It has 64 output points and a transistor drain output type, making it compatible with a range of load voltages from 12 volts DC to 24 volts DC. The operational load voltage range for the module is 10.2 volts to 30.4 volts, with a peak voltage of 30 volts DC. The common public endpoints support a maximum load current of 1.6 amperes, whereas each output point may manage up to 0.1 amperes. The module has a photocoupler insulation technique that ensures complete electrical isolation between the input and output circuits. With a value of 0.1 milliamperes or below, it displays very little leakage current in the OFF state. Zener diodes are used in the module's surge suppression system to safeguard against voltage spikes. Common terminals 1A1, 1A2, 2A1, and 2A2 are used in the wiring scheme for the 32 common points. The specifications for the external power supply include a voltage of 12/24 volts DC, between 10.2 volts and 30 volts DC, with a ripple ratio of up to 5%. The module uses an 8-milliampere (typical) current from the external power source. When all points are turned on, and the voltage is 5 volts DC, it also has an internal current consumption of 930 milliamperes (typical). Providing a trustworthy interface between the control system and external devices, the Mitsubishi Electric A1SY42 is a flexible I/O module that simplifies complicated control procedures in PLC-based control systems.
