The A0J2CPU CPU is a CPU module for programmable controllers from Mitsubishi. The control method supported by the A0J2CPU CPU is a stored program option with repetitive operation. The CPU uses a direct system method for I/O control. The CPU supports 21 types of sequence instruction, 38 types of basic instructions, and 21 types of application instructions. The processing time required for each sequence instruction ranges from 4.4 to 5.6 microseconds. The memory capacity for the A0J2CPU CPU varies from 3K steps with 4K of RAM or 4K of ROM to 7K steps with 8K of ROM or 16K of RAM. The controller supports 336 I/O points in standard programmable controller systems, and this number can be increased to 480 points when the system includes an extension base unit. The input power supply rating for the A0J2CPU CPU is 100 to 120 Volts AC. The CPU can also support 200 to 240 Volts AC of input power. The input current is 0.7 Amps or less for 100 to 120 Volts AC and 0.35 Amps or less for 200 to 240 Volts AC. The peak input apparent power rating is 56 kVA. The inrush current rating is 40 Amps for 5 milliseconds. The efficiency rating of the A0J2CPU CPU’s power supply is 65% or more. At 5 Volts DC, the rated output current is 2 Amps, and at 24 Volts DC, the rated output current is 0.5 Amps. An LED display is provided for the power supply. The A0J2CPU CPU supports a battery for RAM backup. The battery’s nominal voltage is 3.6 Volts DC.
