The Johnson Controls FM-IAN101-0 is an analog input module for industrial use. It was developed specifically to provide reliable and accurate signal measurement across a variety of industrial applications. One of the advantages of using this unit is its compact dimensions of 1.0" x 7.0" x 2.5," and its weight of 0 lbs 5.6 oz (0.2 kg) offer a space-saving alternative for integration into control panels or equipment racks. This is made possible by the product's tiny dimensions. It is guaranteed that the module is compatible with a wide variety of input signals due to the fact that it can support a maximum current of 25 mA and a maximum voltage of 30 V. The accurate conversion of analog signals has been made simpler thanks to the addition of an external resistor that was put into the design. The FM-IAN101-0 is able to measure analog signals because it accepts analog input signals with a range of 0 to 10 Volts Direct Current or 1K RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector). These inputs allow the device to function as a 1K RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector). This enables a large variety of new measuring options to become available. It is possible to accommodate a maximum of two analog signals, each of which is compatible with RTD inputs of 1000 ohms. In addition to that, this analog unit offers a convenient means to have a visual indication of the current status of the module provided by the LED indicator that is located on the module.
