The NU-XBN101-0 module is a point multiplex module that was manufactured by Johnson Controls. It is also known as a Multiplex Binary (XBN) module. The NU-XBN101-0 point multiplex module was specifically designed for monitoring the operating status of 2-position devices. These devices include fans, pumps, and security panels. The NU-XBN101-0 point multiplex module can also detect pulse signals from flow meters and from electric utility meters, or from other types of pulse output devices that have frequency ratings of 10 Hz or less. This XBN module comes with 32 inputs which are binary inputs, but it does not have any outputs or any control options. As a result, the NU-XBN101-0 point multiplex module can monitor 2-position devices, but it cannot control them. This module supports DC or AC input for different applications, and its inputs can be configured as AC or DC inputs. Its low threshold ratings are 3 Volts DC and 2 Volts AC when its inputs are configured as AC inputs, and its high threshold ratings are 8 Volts DC and 18 Volts AC when its inputs are configured as DC inputs. The NU-XBN101-0 point multiplex module can operate at a maximum AC input voltage rating of 120 Volts AC RMS at 50/60 Hertz, and it can operate at a maximum DC input voltage rating of 120 Volts DC. The NU-XBN101-0 point multiplex module’s ambient operating conditions include a temperature range from 32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit with a non-condensing relative humidity range between 10% and 90%. Its ambient storage conditions include a temperature range from -40 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit with a non-condensing relative humidity range between 5% and 95%. The NU-XBN101-0 point multiplex module has a shipping weight of 2 pounds and 11 ounces.
