The MS-VMA1620-1 is a Variable Air Volume (VAV) controller sensor manufactured by Johnson Controls. It is an integrated, programmable device used in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems to control the air volume and temperature in different zones or spaces. The VAV controller operates on a nominal supply voltage rating of 24 VAC, with a voltage range of 20 VAC minimum to 30 VAC maximum. It consumes 10 VA of power during typical operation, and its maximum power consumption rating is 14 VA. This ensures efficient operation while minimizing energy usage. The MS-VMA1620-1 utilizes a DIP switch for controller addressing, allowing for easy configuration and integration into a BACnet MS/TP (Master-Slave/Token-Passing) communications bus system using the RS-485 protocol.
