The MS-VMA1620-0 features programmable BACnet® Application Specific Controllers (B-ASCs) with RS-485 MS/TP communication, ensuring seamless integration into building automation systems. Its VAV controllers, known as VMA16 (16-bit) controllers, deliver high-performance control with their auto-tuned control loops. These loops reduce commissioning time, eliminate the need for re-commissioning during seasonal changes, and minimize wear on mechanical devices. Integrated within the MS-VMA1620-0 is a 4 N•m damper actuator, providing precise and reliable control over airflow. Additionally, it includes a differential pressure transducer (DPT) that offers consistent flow readings with minimal drift. The DPT requires minimal auto-zero calibration and ensures close tolerance to published accuracy. There are no filters to change, simplifying maintenance and preserving accuracy. The modular assembly supports various applications, including cooling-only or cooling with reheat and fan control. For smoke control systems, the MS-VMA1620-0 meets the UL/cUL 864 10th Edition UUKL/ORD-C100-13 UUKLC requirements. It supports NS and WRZ Series Communicating Network Sensors, enabling temperature sensing, fan override control, and occupancy override control. With its standard BACnet protocol, the MS-VMA1620-0 ensures interoperability with other building automation products that adhere to the widely accepted BACnet standard. The assembly's hardware and software platform follow a common design, supporting standardized wiring practices and installation workflows. A writable flash memory allows for downloading standard or customized applications from the Controller Configuration Tool (CCT), enabling persistent application data. The MS-VMA1620-0 offers an optional local user interface display for convenient monitoring and adjustments at the device level.
