The MS-NCM4510-2 network control module is a unit that combines usefulness, dependability, and efficiency in a Johnson Controls Metasys system. The device is powered by a 192 MHz and 32-bit processor, which ensures quick and effective processing of data. In addition, it has 128 MB of nonvolatile flash memory and 128 MB of SDRAM, both of which provide a sufficient amount of storage space for system data. This N2 bus unit was developed with data protection in mind, and it contains a rechargeable NiMH battery that supports data retention during power outages, ensuring that the Metasys system will continue to function without losing important data. The MS-NCM4510-2 network control module can operate in a wide temperature range (32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit). It needs a dedicated Class 2 power source that supports a nominal voltage rating of 24 Volts AC when it is used in North American systems. Notably, the MS-NCM4510-2 network control module has a small form factor, and it is protected from small amounts of pollutants by an IP20-rated enclosure that is made of durable ABS and polycarbonate material. This enclosure helps to ensure that the device is robust enough to operate in certain types of demanding environments.
