The MS-NAE3511-1 is an NAE or network automation engine from Johnson Controls. Its main application is monitoring and controlling building automation devices, lighting equipment, and HVAC equipment. To mount the MS-NAE3511-1 network automation engine on a flat surface, screws and three M4 fasteners are required. The required mounting space for the network automation engine is 110 x 210 x 350 millimeters. The dimensions of the MS-NAE3511-1 are 131 x 270 x 62 millimeters and its weight is 1.2 kilograms. A data protection battery is supplied with the network automation engine and it is mounted in its designated compartment. This device operates with 24 Volts AC of nominal voltage. The power terminals for the AC supply are located on the top side of the device. A 6-pin field service port is located on the front side of the engine. A USB port, RS-232 serial port, modem terminal interface and a RJ-45 Ethernet interface are located near the bottom side of the device.
