Johnson Controls manufactured the MS-FEC2621-0 as a 17-point Metasys MS-series field equipment controller. Within the equipment controller, there are five groups of points, with the following points and the number of points in each group including six universal inputs (UI), two binary inputs (BI), two analog outputs (AO), three binary outputs (BO), and four configurable outputs (CO). To begin, the voltages for each point are 0 to 10 volts DC for the UI and 24 volts AC for the BO. The CO can operate as the UI or the BO, and the AO has the same voltage as the UI. This current is an available measure as the UI has a current range of 4-20 milliamps (mA), and the AO has the same current. It should also be noted that the UI has a resistance range of 0 to 600,000 ohms (600 kilo-ohm). The MS-FEC2621-0 equipment controller operates at 24 volts and a frequency of 50/60 hertz. The maximum power consumption for this field equipment controller is 20VA (volt-amp). The flash memory stores 1 megabyte of memory, but the random-access memory (RAM) for the MS-FEC2621-0 equipment controller is only 512 kilobytes (KB). The BACnet system is used for communication, and both the FC and the SA bus can be used in this system. The MS-FEC2621-0 controller is a multipurpose and adaptable solution for controlling various building field devices and equipment. It gives the intelligence and connectivity required for managing and integrating various systems, such as HVAC, lighting, and access control. This device is simple to use and install.
