The AS-VAV141-1 is a variable air volume (VAV) controller manufactured by Johnson Controls. It is designed to control VAV boxes which are commonly used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to maintain optimal airflow and temperature regulation in different zones. In terms of physical dimensions, the controller measures 165mm in height, 163mm in width, and 51mm in depth without the enclosure. With the enclosure, the dimensions are 173mm in height, 185mm in width, and 119mm in depth. These compact dimensions facilitate easy installation and integration within VAV boxes or control panels. The AS-VAV141-1 controller supports the N2 bus which provides an isolated communication interface for connecting with other devices in the control system. The termination option for the AS-VAV141-1 is a screw terminal option, enabling secure and convenient wiring connections. The controller offers 8 analog inputs, which can accommodate different types of sensors such as RTD temperature elements, 0-10VDC transmitters, 2K ohm setpoints, and potentiometers. This allows for precise measurement and control of various parameters. Additionally, it has 4 binary inputs capable of receiving signals from dry contacts or a momentary push button from a zone sensor. These inputs enable the controller to receive external signals for control and monitoring purposes. For outputs, the AS-VAV141-1 provides 0/2 analog outputs that generate 0 to 10VDC signals at 10mA.
