The AS-UNT111-1 digital controller from the Johnson Controls Metasys series is an advanced UNT or unitary controller for HVAC systems. It features 6 binary outputs. These outputs allow for precise switching and control of various devices and components. In addition, it has 2 analog outputs that enable continuous signal control for compatible equipment. A notable feature of the AS-UNT111-1 UNT digital controller is its N2 isolation capability, which ensures reliable communication and protects the controller from potential electrical interference. As a result, this UNT can enhance performance and system stability. The AS-UNT111-1 digital controller also supports selectable triac operation, and this feature allows it to integrate different load types. For example, the AS-UNT111-1 UNT can operate with either a high-side or low-side triac option and this expands the range of potential applications for the controller and allows the controller to meet specific application requirements. Additionally, the AS-UNT111-1 digital controller can operate within an ambient temperature range of 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. The controller’s power requirement is 24 Volts AC of voltage at 50/60 Hertz of frequency and 40 VA in a typical system. The AS-UNT111-1 UNT is CSA-certified and UL-listed as part of the Johnson Controls Metasys network. This controller can be used to control a unit vent or a fan coil in an HVAC system. The AS-UNT111-1 controller’s memory includes 8K of EEPROM, 64K of ROM, and 32K of RAM. Its power draw rating is 10 VA or 400 mA because of its sensors and transmitters. The AS-UNT111-1 controller supports Zone Bus and N2 interfaces.
