It incorporates an actuator, a pressure sensor, a reheat option, and a fan option, and this eliminates the need for installing all of these components separately in a system. The AP-VMA1220-0 VAV controller simplifies HVAC installation processes and reduces installation costs. The AP-VMA1220-0 controller's built-in actuator precisely adjusts the damper position in the system based on the desired airflow setpoints. The controller utilizes its pressure sensor to measure the air pressure in the duct, enabling accurate control and monitoring of the ventilation system. The AP-VMA1220-0 controller's reheat functionality allows for precise temperature control by modulating the reheat coil. In addition, the AP-VMA1220-0 controller uses its fan power feature to drive a ventilation fan, ensuring proper air circulation and distribution throughout the system. By providing precise airflow control, energy efficiency, and ease of installation, the AP-VMA1220-0 controller ensures optimal comfort and performance in HVAC systems in commercial and industrial buildings. The AP-VMA1220-0 controller supports standard cooling features in addition to its reheat feature. All of the VMA1220 controllers from Johnson Controls support cooling features, but only specific models such as the AP-VMA1220-0 controller also have the reheat feature. The AP-VMA1220-0 controller’s reheat feature allows it to be used with series fan-powered boxes and in parallel systems in addition to single-duct systems which are pressure-independent. This controller is pre-assembled, and this makes it quick and easy to install. The AP-VMA1220-0 VAV controller comes with advanced diagnostics features.
