The HE693RTU940 is a Modbus slave interface which allows Modbus communications with either RS232 or RS485. The module allows a Modbus master to connect to a Series 90-30 PLC reference as if it were Modbus I/O. The data may be accessed using standard Modbus commands such as Read /Force Coils and Read / Preset Registers. To access most of the PLC data types with the limited set of Modbus commands, references provided in these commands are subdivided into regions which allow access to a particular data table. Accessible data types are: %M, %I, %Q, %T, %R, %AI, %AQ
