RTU / Modbus master module for Series 90-30 with 1 RS-232 port,

Technical Information

The HE693RTM700 module is a Horner Electric module from Series 90-30 with 1 RS-232 port that works as a Modbus master module. It operates with a serial level protocol that allows it to be configured as a master module. A CRC cyclic Redundancy Checksum 16-bit structure is controlled by the module to access data from the RTUs. It features LEDs that are the OK, P1, and P2 LEDs. The OK LED lights up to show the users that the module is going through the self-test process after the initialization of the hardware, and the P1 and P2 LEDs light up when Port 1 and Port 2 are active. The module is made so that it can be installed in any series and in the local slot of any Series 90-30 rack. The HE693RTM700 module comes with a half-duplex transmission driver. This transmission driver is responsible for sending commands between the RTM and the slave RTU through an RS-485 cable.

With the Radio Modem option, the Horner Electric HE693RTM700 Modbus master module can communicate with an external radio modem by monitoring the receiver line immediately, and this does not depend on the DCD. The module specifies the number of SCBs, the pointer type, and the beginning location in the PLC memory for the system that it is installed in. Since the addressing within the Modbus protocol starts at zero, the number that is entered for the offset ought to be the beginning address minus one. Station locking is available in this module, and station locking connects the Modbus module to a specific station and allows the module to remain connected to that station indefinitely. The HE693RTM700 Modbus master module has adjustable interactive bits.
