Product Description

The IC200MDL940 is a Form A Relay VersaMax Output Module from General Electric with a total of 16 output points.
The output points for this device are divided into two groups of eight, and each point is also isolated individually. Group to group and channel to channel isolation are also possible. The IC200MDL940 has fixed coil relay types with moving armatures, and the contact types are silver. This module is compatible with both the IC200CHS101 and IC200CHS102 series of VersaMax interposing disconnect bases.

The IC200MDL940 will consume up to 490 milliamps of current from a five-volt output backplane from which this device receives its primary power. For all load switching, however, another power supply will be needed. The output voltage for the IC200MDL940 has two settings: alternating current and direct current. With alternating current, the output voltage can range from 0 to 265 volts at 47 to 63 hertz, but the nominal voltage is 120 volts and 240 volts. When using direct current, the output voltage is 0 to 125 volts, but the nominal voltage is 5 volts, 24 volts, or 125 volts.

The load current for each point is a minimum of 10 milliamps; however, this will change depending on voltage conditions. With 5 to 265 volts of alternating current, the load per point will be 2 amperes maximum. When using 5 to 30 volts direct current, the load per point will also be at most 2 amperes. With 31 to 125 volts direct current, the load per point will be 0.2 amperes. Note: These load currents are all resistive. Thermal derating, fuses, and snubbers are not applicable to the IC200MDL940
