Product Description


IC200MDL644 is a 5/12 VDC Positive Negative Logic Input Module with 32 points manufactured by GE Fanuc for the VersaMax series. This module provides four sets of eight discrete inputs.

Inputs in each group can be either positive logic or negative logic. Positive logic inputs receive current from the input device and return it to the common. Negative-logic inputs receive current from the common and return current to the input device. Input devices are connected between the input terminals and common terminals. During those instances when the inputs are required to be compatible with TTL devices, the negative logic configuration is a must.

All operations of the IC200MDL644 module are powered by the backplane, while intelligent processing is carried out by the CPU or NIU. In addition, the module provides 32 bits of discrete input data. Individual green LEDs indicate the on/off state of each input point. The LEDs will only provide status backplane power is available. This module’s basic input on/off response time is 0.25ms.
