Product Description


IC200MDL635 is a 48VDC Positive/Negative Logic Discrete Input Module manufactured by GE Fanuc. The IC200MDL635 provides two sets of 8 discrete inputs for a total of 16. Inputs in each set can be either positive or negative logic. Positive logic inputs receive current from input devices and return it on the common. On the other hand, negative-logic inputs receive current from the common and return current to the input device. Input devices are linked between the input terminals and common terminals.

The IC200MDL635 gets power for its operation from the backplane. Intelligent processes for this module are handled by either the CPU or NIU. The IC200MDL635 provides 16 bits of discrete input data. Individual green LEDs provide an indication of the on/off state of each input point. For LEDs to provide status of inputs, backplane power must be available. The green OK LED only turns on when backplane power is registered. The IC200MDL635 has a basic input on/off response time of 0.5 ms.
