IC200MDL144 is a 240 VAC Isolated Input Module with Four Isolated Modules. This discrete input module provides four isolated discrete inputs with each module input using positive logic or sourcing type inputs. They receive current from AC input devices and then return the current on the common while in use. Input devices are connected through the input and common terminals. Power for the IC200MDL144 module comes from the backplane with intelligent processing being performed by the NIU or CPU. As with many modules, this module offers LEDs to indicate both on/off states and the presence of backplane power.
This specific module requires a box, barrier, or spring style carrier with revision B or later. The IC200MDL144 cannot be used with a connector style carrier. Isolation on the module is set at user input to logic and frame ground of 250 VAC continuous and 1500 VAC at one minute. This includes point to point of 250 VAC continuous and 1500 VAC at one minute as well. The backplane current consumption of 5V is consistent at 30mA. Additionally, input voltage is set at 0 to 264 VAC or 240 VAC nominal.
Prior to installation of the IC200MDL144, each component should be carefully checked for damage. If the module is damaged in any way, a replacement should be ordered immediately. Please also note that incorrect hot insertion can damage or disrupt other modules on the backplane.
