Product Description


IC200MDL143 is a 120 VAC Isolated Input Module with Eight Isolated Discrete Inputs. The module’s inputs are positive logic or sourcing type inputs that receive current from AC input devices and then offer return of current on the common. On this module, each input has its own return. When using this module, please note that the power for operation comes from the backplane. Additionally, intelligent processing is performed by the NIU or CPU. As with many modules, LED indicators are present to assist the user in assessing performance. Both on/off states and backplane power are indicated by green LEDs.  

Specific to the IC200MDL143 module, there are eight isolated inputs with user input to logic and frame ground at 250 VAC continuous or 1500 VAC for one minute. Backplane current consumption with a 5V output is 50mA maximum with no external power or derating. Input voltage is set at 0 to 132 VAC or 120 VAC nominal with an on state voltage of 70 to 132 VAC and off state voltage at 0 to 20 VAC. On response time is 1 cycle max with 2 cycle max for off response time.

Prior to installation of the IC200MDL143 module, all pieces and equipment should be carefully inspected for any damage. If damage is present, then the parts should be replaced immediately. No derating is necessary for this module in any chosen orientation. Specific wiring diagrams and pictures are available online. Users should note that if hot insertion is done improperly, other modules on the same backplane could be disrupted.
