IC200MDD850 is a Mixed Output Relay from the VersaMax family of parts. This discrete module with both input and output capabilities provides four isolated discrete inputs with eight relay outputs. Inputs are positive logic or sourcing type as they get current from an AC input device and return currents on the common. This relay offers inputs with individual returns. Outputs on the relay are individually isolated and can drive 2A per output maximum. Specific to this Form A output, the contact is closed as long as the host CPU is active in addition to the corresponding output logic bit set at 1.
To power this module, the output loads must be powered through an external source though overall operation comes from the backplane. The CPU or NIU performs intelligent processing for the IC200MDD850. Each module has standard LED indicators to demonstrate on/off states of both the input and output points. LED operation is logic driven and independent of any of the load connections.
When installing the IC200MDD850, make sure to carefully inspect all parts out of the box to make sure nothing is damaged. Installing a damaged module could damage the overall unit. Installation is simple with clear cut directions readily available. Specific to this module, backplane current consumption is 5V output with a 275mA maximum. Input voltage in the on state range is from 155 to 264VAC with an off state voltage of 0 to 40VAC.
