The IC200MDD847 is a VersaMax module with mixed inputs and outputs made by GE Fanuc. In total, this module has the capacity to support 16 input and output points, with eight of them being discrete positive logic or sourcing input points and the remaining eight being Form A relay output points. Each output point is individually isolated on a channel-to-channel basis; however, this module does not use snubbers or internal fuses to protect each input and output point. Each relay output point is capable of driving up to two amperes of power. This device supports eight bits of discrete input and output data, but this processing must be performed by either a CPU or NIU. Thermal derating is not an option for this module.
Power for this device is received from the 5-volt backplane, from which this device consumes a maximum of 300 milliamps of current. Current drawn from the power source will increase in proportion to the number of activated output points. When attached devices are in the “on” state, the current is at least 4 milliamps, while the current for devices in the “off” state is at most 1.5 milliamps. The input “on” state voltage of this module is anywhere from 155 to 264 volts of alternating current, and the input “off” state voltage ranges from 0 to 40 volts of alternating current.
The following are the physical specifications for the IC200MDD847: The height is 2.63 inches, or 66.8mm; the width is 4.3 inches, or 110mm; and the depth is 1.956 inches, or 50mm. Physical characteristics of carriers and connectors are not included in these measurements.
