Product Description


The IC200CPU002 is a Versamax Series CPU designed by GE.
Features include a Run/Stop switch, floating point data functions, and embedded RS-232 and RS-485 communication. The IC200CPU002 module is equipped with seven LEDs for indication of power, operating mode, and status reporting.

The Power LED will emit once the CPU begins receiving 5V from the power supply. There will be no indication by the LED if power supply output is 3.3V. The OK LED will emit once the CPU has completed its power-up diagnostics successfully. If a problem occurs, the LED will remain off. When power-up diagnostics is initiated, the LED will blink quickly. Slow blinking indicates I/O configuration. When the CPU is in boot mode, the LED will blink in conjunction with the green RUN LED. The FAULT LED indicates an override.

The IC200CPU002 is designed with a RUN/STOP switch used to place the CPU in Stop or Run mode. The switch is located behind the module door. The switch can also be used to stop writing to program or change memory and overridde isolated data. If the RUN LED is blinking, the CPU switch can be used to clear the fault table and place the CPU in RUN mode.

The IC200CPU002 module is a CPU module and it is a product of GE Fanuc which is designed for use with different GE PLC modules. This Versamax module features 2048 digital inputs as well as 2048 outputs and RS-232 and RS-485 serial ports that are specially designed for internal communication. It comes with a user-configurable memory capacity of 42 KB along with a non-volatile flash memory for storing programs and instructions. This unit supports programming in a ladder diagram and the instruction list programming languages. It has a battery which aids in powering the real-time clock as well as a battery with a 5-year lifespan intended for normal use. The GE Fanuc IC200CPU002 CPU module comes with a Run and Stop switch that is used for starting and stopping the CPU. The floating-point functions and the real data functions are among the functions of this CPU module.

The IC200CPU002 CPU module has other features such as the RTU slave, SNP slave, Serial I/O, and integral communication protocols. It has real-time clock with an accuracy of 0.01 percent, and 0.0023 percent time-of-day clock accuracy with a temperature rating of 30 degrees Celsius. This CPU module is mountable in horizontal and vertical positions by using a DIN rail that should also be grounded properly to be safe from EMC noise. The GE Fanuc IC200CPU002 CPU module has a power supply of 5 Volts. On the front section of this GE Fanuc CPU module there is an LED indicator which lights up when there is ongoing operation in the unit. Additionally, a Run and Stop switch is present on the door of this module door to stop and start the application process or change it.
