IC200CHS121 is a 16 point I/O interposing fuse style terminal manufactured by GE Fanuc for the VersaMax series. It weighs 1.00 pound and provides an integrated fuse solution for field devices connected to VersaMax I/O modules.
This module is available in two different versions: the main base and the expansion base. The IC200CHS121 is the main base and provides terminals that correspond to the A terminals on a VersaMax I/O module.
The IC200CHS121 has a connector (J1) that is used to attach the cable from the connector-style input-output carrier and 36 box-style terminals for the field input-output wiring and power connections.
The IC200CHS121 connects the terminals on the A side of the VersaMax connector. The two groups of common terminals are used to connect wired devices. This eliminates the need of additional auxiliary terminal blocks. Separate fuses exist between each terminal and its matching pin on the VersaMax cable connector. This module also provides an expansion connector (J2) that attaches to IC200CHS122.
In general, connection of field wiring to the interposing fuse bases has to strictly comply with the standard wiring diagram. That means all the terminals on the IC200CHS121 should be connected in the same manner as with all other bases.
