Product Description

IC200CHS112 is a Relay-Style Interposing I/O Terminal manufactured by GE Fanuc for the VersaMax series. It provides dry contacts that switch high current outputs of up to 8 amps.

The relays on these interposing terminals can only be controlled by a standard 24 Volt DC 0.5 Amp VersaMax output module catalogued as IC200MDL740 and IC200MDL750 respectively. Each relay in this module has its own specific LED status and fuse label. The LED status helps in indicating specific points on the VersaMax output module.

There are two different versions of this particular module: the expansion base VersaMax (IC200CHS112) and the main base (IC200CHS111). The IC200CHS112 is used with points 17-32 of the 32 point VersaMax module. IC200CHS111 is used with a 16-point VersaMax module catalogued as IC200MDL740 or points 1-16 of the 32-point VersaMax module catalogued as IC200MDL750.

The IC200CHS112 requires a connector (J2), which joins the ribbon cable to the expansion connector of IC200CHS111 and 50 box-style terminals for both power connections and field input-output wiring connections.

Relay coils in this case are powered by an external 24 VDC, and this power is required by both the main base and the expansion base. Connection to the external power supply is made via the terminals B17 & B18 for the expansion base. This power connection is for the relay coils only, so user loads are left to be powered by an external source of power.
