Product Description


Manufactured by General Electric Intelligent Platforms, the IC200CHS111 is an interposing relay style main input/output base with 16 points. This product is intended to provide additional protection to all connected devices and modules by supporting higher amperage outputs. Each relay on this base can be replaced, is individually fused, and has a method of indicating relay status. The form-C relays for this product were produced by Omron Electronics. As a main base, this product is meant to be used with either the 16-point or the 32-point VersaMax modules. For the 32-point module, the first 16 points are used by this product.

 

The IC200CHS111 supports a maximum current of up to eight amps. For this input/output terminal, an external power supply capable of 24 volts direct current is required. To connect the 24V power supply to this relay base, use the A17 and A18 connection points. Note: This power supply is intended only for the coils on the relay main base.

 

The IC200CHS111 has both a J1 and J2 connector. The J1 connector is used to form a connection from the Connector-Style I/O Carrier and 50 terminals for field wiring devices and power connections. This device uses box-style wiring termination, as well as non-integrated field termination. The J2 connector is used to connect this main base to an interposing relay expansion base. An IC200CBL1xxx cable is required for this product.

 

The dimensions for this device are as follows: Width is 9.9 inches, or 253.7mm; height is 4.95 inches, or 126mm; and depth is 2.8 inches, or 73mm. The height of the DIN rail is not included in these dimensions.
