Product Description


IC200CHS101 is a disconnect-style interposing I/O terminal by GE Versamax. Each device connected to the I/O module can be individually disconnected if needed from the control circuit by simply opening one of the two switches associated with that module. This includes the signal and return switch. This allows the user to take specific inputs or outputs offline if necessary. This also means the system wiring or balance of the installation will remain unaffected. There are two differing versions of the disconnect style interposing I/O terminals that can be used. These include the main and expansion bases.

When preparing to install the terminal main base, make sure to check all parts for any damage that may have occurred during shipping. Damage may cause issues upon installation.

The main base offers terminals that correspond to A terminals, but if the I/O module has B terminals, an expansion base is required. The interposing disconnect base includes a connector for attaching a cable from the connector style I/O carrier and 36 box style terminals for power connectors and I/O field wiring. The wiring for ungrouped modules allows for connection of isolated I/O devices but can be used when a non-isolated module provides dedicated terminals.

Additional jumpers are usually not needed for the IC200CHS101 module. Each terminal allows for one solid or stranded AWG #12 to AWG #24, but when inserting two wires in the same position the wires must be both the same size and type.
