Product Description

IC200BEM002 is a PLC Network Communications PROFIBUS-DP (Slave) Module from the GE Fanuc Versamax Series.
This network style module offers 32 stations without repeaters or up to 125 stations with repeaters. The I/O data is set at 384 bytes on a 9 pin, D-sub connector. With a firmware version of 1.00, this network slave module has firmware residing in the FLASH memory that may be upgraded via serial download when a PC is connected to the serial port. Specifically, the Profibus network is software configurable from 1 to 125 at 9.6 Kbaud to 12 Mbaud, which is auto-detected. I/O data offers a 384 byte maximum with up to 244 bytes or either input or output data.

When installing the IC200BEM002, make sure to carefully inspect all containers and parts for damage. If anything is damaged, do not use the part as it may be unsafe. To install, simply click the communications carrier on the DIN rail. Make sure the connecting carriers are installed in the same section. The DIN rail must have a conductive, unpainted finish to properly ground the module. To install on the communications carrier, make sure the module is in the unlocked position, align the connectors, and press the NSIM down until the two tabs click into place; then lock the latch to secure. Finally, connect the communications bus, install additional modules as needed, and power up the system.

LED indicators are standard on the IC200BEM002 and will alert the user to proper installation and power source status.
