Product Description

IC200ALG430 is an analog mixed module with 12 bit input current on four channels with two channel output.
This particular module is mixed and offers two analog current outputs in conjunction with four analog current inputs. A 24V external power supply is required for the outputs with inputs powered by the transceivers external power source all in one group. The Central Processing Unit (CPU) or Network Interface Unit (NIU) performs intelligent processing for the IC200ALG430. This includes four words of analog input data in addition to two words of analog output data.

IC200ALG430 comes fully equipped with LED indicators that illustrate the presence of user-side power for analog field side circuits and when the backplane power is present for the module. The LED appears as solid green when properly working. This analog mixed module is capable of reporting loss of user side power faults for field side circuits when properly installed and is easily set up with a jumper for the outputs. The IC200ALG430 can be set to hold last states or defaults even if the backplane or field power is temporarily interrupted if a jumper is used.

The recommended range for the external power source for this module is +18 to +30VDC, which includes ripple with a consumption range of 160mA. When connecting, shielded twisted pair cable is preferred for analog channel connections. These should be grounded at the source device. If grounding is not possible in this way, then the cable shield can be grounded at the I/O module.
