Product Description

The IC200ALG320 is a 4-Channel, 12-Bit, Current, Analog Output module from the GE Fanuc VersaMax Series
. The IC200ALG320 offers four 4mA to 20mA analog current-sourcing outputs. There is a modest amount of over-range current; roughly 20.38mA of output current per channel is accessible to drive output loads.

The IC200ALG320 is configured easily during setup. A jumper is used for the outputs to retain their last states or default if backplane power or communications is interrupted or if the PLC has stopped. Until the IC200ALG320 receives different output data or the field power is detached, the outputs will remain in their previous or default state.

The IC200ALG320 is equipped with LED indicators. Presence of user-side power pertaining to the analog field-side circuits are indicated by the green FLD power LED. The green OK LED is ON once backplane power is recognized. The IC200ALG320’s lowest load resistance per channel is dependent upon ambient temperature, external voltage, and positioning of the module and DIN rail.

For all connections of the IC200ALG320 analog output module, shielded twisted cable is recommended. If installation of the IC200ALG320 module is on a terminal-style I/O carrier or compact terminal-style I/O carrier, connection of the cable shield can be direct to the carrier if compatible with the field wiring table. The IC200ALG320 module is compatible with the original release of VersaMax CPUs and NIUs.
