Product Description

The IC200ALG260 is an 8 channel, 12 Bit, Voltage/Current Analog Input Module from the GE Fanuc Versamax series with eight voltage and current inputs
. The analog input module has eight isolated inputs as part of an intelligent module that can accept input signals from up to eight separate analog devices. This module also provides input data with 16 bits of resolution for these devices. In current mode, it may be necessary to supply a separate power supply for isolated inputs. However, additional software configurable parts include per channel selection of 4-20mA current or +/- 10 V voltage inputs, selectable input filter, and pre-channel selection of default values and under/over range levels.

The IC200ALG260 offers eight words of analog input data and reports the under and over range, open wire, loss of power, non-volatile memory fault, and high or low alarm diagnostics. Each of these allows the user to know if a problem has occurred and correct that issue quickly. Additionally, LED indicators are standard for this module.

To install the
IC200ALG260, a 24 V power supply must connect to A17 and 18 to function. Current inputs are applied with positive current flow with both negative terminals of the channel connected for top accuracy. If the unit is installed on a terminal style I/O carrier or a compact of the same style, then the cable shield can be directly connected to the carrier in these specific cases. This module is compatible with PLC CPU firmware version 1.20 or later.
