28 point expansion. (16) 24VDC In, (12) 24VDC Out with ESCP, 24VDC Power Supply (includes IC200CBL501)
The IC200UEX222 module is a 28-point Micro expansion module for PLCs from the Versamax Micro series that are manufactured by GE Fanuc. It can support up to 4 expansion units of other kinds. This module also comes with both thermocouple and RTD features. It has sixteen 24 Volts DC rated positive logic inputs that are arranged in 4 groups with 4 inputs each. It can handle small to moderate levels of current due to its 12 transistor outputs that are each rated at 24 Volts DC power. For DC power, the module operates in a range from 19.2 to 30 Volts DC. During power interruptions or downtime, the IC200UEX222 expansion module has a hold-up time of 10 microseconds at 19.2 Volts DC before rebooting or resetting. It provides a maximum of 200 milliamps of current for the user devices and input circuits at an output power supply of 24 Volts DC.
To sustain the 24 Volts DC voltage level, the power from the DC power source should have enough transient current to boost the current inrush of the power that is supplied. This current is rated at 1 Amp maximum when the voltage is at 30 Volts DC. The current magnitude drained when the IC200UEX222 module is first switched on, and the inrush time is 10 microseconds for every 1 Amp of current. When the rating of the input power of the device is 5 Watts, its input current rating is 0.2 Amps typical at 24 Volts DC. It also allows for some current to flow for a certain cycle during a fault current experience for 100 microseconds, which is also referred to as the delayed time of the peak short circuit. Additionally, the IC200UEX222 expansion module can increase the I/O of a micro PLC to a circumference of 2 meters.
