The IC200UEX015 module is a GE Fanuc manufactured 14-point expansion module. It is powered with a 12 Volts DC rated power source. The expansion unit has 8 inputs with 12 Volts DC rated power and 6 outputs with 12 Volts DC rated power. The DC inputs can act with both positive and negative characteristics. The inputs of the expansion module are compatible with different devices. The built-in 12 Volts DC power supply is used for the input devices and the input circuits. The current for the circuit and the external device must not exceed 200 milliamps. The transistor outputs are isolated between the field and logic sides and they use positive switching voltage. The IC200UEX015 module has external fusing that protects the outputs. The DC range of the expansion unit is between 9.6 and 15 Volts DC. The holdup time is 3 milliseconds. The expansion unit has an inrush time of 200 milliseconds and an inrush current of 9.2 Amps.

 

The GE Fanuc IC200UEX015 expansion module has a response time between 0.5 and 20 milliseconds. The isolation voltage between the inputs and outputs is 1500 Volts RMS. It can support a maximum load of 0.7 Amps per circuit with 4 Amps of common current. The output voltage drop is 0.3 Volts maximum, and the off-state leakage is 0.1 milliamps. The transistor output comes with a fuse that is externally placed. The IC200UEX015 expansion module has an open enclosure and it is meant to be used for indoor applications only. The expansion module should not be exposed to EMC noise and water sprays from any directions. The expansion unit is protected against negative and voltage pulses.
