Product Description

The IC697PWR710 is a 90-70 Series 55 Watt Power Supply Module manufactured by GE Fanuc.
The IC697PWR710 module is designed to operate from a 120 VAC or 264 VAC nominal line. The input voltage range of 90 to 264 VAC, 47 to 63 Hz will be accepted by the power supply. The power supply can also operate with a 125 VDC nominal line. There is an electronic overvoltage protection circuit included the power supply. If the 5 volt bus exceeds 6.2 volts, the circuit will lock the output. The power supply fuse will not open due to output external overvoltage, but the fuse can be opened if overvoltage resulted from an internal fault in the power supply. The fuse may be replaced with a 1 amp 250 volt 5x20 mm fuse.

The IC697PWR710 module is rack-mounted, and the unit plugs straight into a 48-pin connecter located in the leftmost slot in the rack. The power supply can be used either in a single rack application or as a power supply to a second rack if the total load is within the supply rating. There is a prewired cable available used for interconnection of the second rack. There are four terminals attached to the input terminal board. Two top terminals (L1 and N) are connections for input powers of 120/240 VAC or 125 VDC. The last two terminal connections are for overload device protection and ground. Connections for power input are designed for copper AWG wire, sizes #16. Terminals can operate with solid standard wires, but wires into any terminal should be the same type and size. For proper grounding, it is recommended that the ground terminal on the power supply be connected to the GND terminal located on the rack with copper AWG #12 wires.
