IC697MDL640 is a 125 VDC Positive/Negative Logic Discrete Input Module by GE Fanuc. This module’s standard features include 16 points comprised of four isolated groups (each having four points), positive/negative logic compatibility, and proximity switch compatibility. The IC697MDL350 has input filter selection capability (1 ms or 10 ms), and one input is configurable as interrupt; however, these particular features depend on use of IC697 PLCs. Refer to the reference manual for other options.
The IC697MDL350 is equipped with input current-voltage characteristics that meet IEC standard (type 1) specifications. LEDs provide the ON-OFF status of each point on the logic side of the circuit (PLC) and are located at the top of the module. This module is mechanically keyed to guarantee correct replacement with a similar type in the field. I/O references are configurable by the user without the use of jumpers or DIP switches. Configuration is completed using the configuration function of the MS-DOS or Windows programming software (Windows 95 or Windows NT over Ethernet TCP/IP or through the SNP port). Use the programming device for programming software configuration functionality.
The IC697MDL350 provides positive and negative logic characteristics, meaning the user common receives current from the input device. The input device is connected between the power bus and the module input. The module is compatible with a variety of pushbuttons, limit switches, and selector switches.
