Product Description


IC697ACC724 is a rack fan assembly made for GE 90-30 Series modules. The installation of this particular assembly is optional for additional cooling in the bottom rack. It is helpful when/if forced air cooling is needed due to excessive heat.  The IC697ACC724 optional fan assembly is comprised of three parallel wired fans equipped with ball bearings, resulting in less noise. This also extends fan life. Located on the front of the assembly is a cable measuring three feet that can be wired to AC power. The remaining fans are then connected via a cable or connector assembly to the first fan. The manufacturer recommends that the fans be wired to the same power source as the PLC (IC697) to ensure power regardless of if the PLC is powered and/or in use.

The fan assembly is situated on the bottom of the mounted rack, and air flow moves from the bottom up to the rack itself. IC697ACC724 is set for 240 VAC. Though this assembly is optional, units that may experience high heat output would benefit. Racks used in high vibration environments can be ordered and come equipped with heavy duty side mount plates.
