IC693PWR330 is a High Capacity Power Supply with 30 watts output and 120/240 VAC/125 VDC Input. There are applications that might need high +5V current capacity which may not be present with the standard supply(IC693PWR321).Therefore, this high capacity power supply permits each one of the 30 watts to be utilized from the +5V supply. IC693PWR330 can function from an input voltage source within the range of 85 to 264 VAC or 100 to 300 VDC. This power supply offers a +5 VDC output, +24 VDC Relay power outputs which distribute power to circuits on Series 90-30 Output Relay modules. An Isolated +24 VDC utilized internally by some modules may be used to offer external power for 24 VDC Input modules. IC693PWR330 has field Wiring Connections for the AC/DC Input Power Supplies. These two power supplies consist of 6 terminals used for user link up. These links include; AC Power Source, 20 VAC power source, and ground wires from the 240 VAC power source. They are attached to the system via the top 3 terminals on the front of the power supply. Their sensitivity to an AC/DC input power supply is normally low.
IC693PWR330 contains input overvoltage protection devices which have an internal connection on pin 4 found on the user terminal strip. This pin is linked to pin 3 with the offered strapped jumper that is well set up at the company. The strapped jumper can be removed to make the character nonfunctional in case overvoltage protection is not needed from both pins 3 and 4. It also requires overcurrent protection which is offered by the 5V logic output which is electronically limited to 3.5 amps (7 amps for high capacity supplies). Whenever there is excess load it is sensed on the inside which may lead to shutting down of the power. An internal fuse in the input acts as a power back up in case of such occurrences. It also safeguards the power supply from internal supply faults.

The GE Fanuc IC693PWR330 High-Capacity Power Supply is a modular power supply module for the Series 90-30 PLC control system. The GE Fanuc Series 90-30 power supplies are modularly designed to allow for direct plugging into the left slot of all the Series 90-30 baseplates, thus reducing installation time and costs. The IC693PWR330 Power Supply belongs to the high capacity AC/DC input series and it is capable of operating from an input voltage source in the range of 85 Volts AC to 264 Volts AC or 100 Volts DC to 300 Volts DC. The IC693PWR330 Power Supply is designed for applications requiring more than 5 Volts DC and more than the standard IC693PWR321 Power Supply Module can provide, and it allows all the 30 Watts output capacity to be used from the +5 Volts DC rated supply.
The GE Fanuc IC693PWR330 Power Supply has a standard 5 Volts DC output capacity with 30 Watts of total output power. It also has a 24 Volts DC relay power output with 15 Watts of power, which provides power to circuits on Series 90-30 output relay modules, and an isolated 24 Volts DC output with 20 Watts of total power, which is used internally by some I/O modules and can also be used to provide external power for 24 Volts DC input modules. The IC693PWR330 Power Supply has a nominal input voltage rating of 120/240 Volts AC or 125 Volts DC, and an acceptable operating voltage range of 85 to 264 Volts AC or 100 to 300 Volts DC. The IC693PWR330 Power Supply has a minimum hold-up time of 20 milliseconds and a maximum overcurrent protection limit of 7 Amps at 5 Volts DC output.

PDFsupply Tech
The IC693PWR330 is a high capacity power supply for the GE Series 90-30 product family. It enables this product family to house a large number of modules in a rack. This power supply allows 120/240 VAC with a 30 watt output. This module is ideal for use in power plants that also require 125vdc input. The alternative IC693PWR321 does not allow the 30 watt power to be allocated between modules and hence will not support a large number of high power modules.
