Product Description

GE Automation and Controls is the manufacturer of IC693PWR328. It acts as the power supply for the 90-30 Series PLC. It gives a power output of 30 watts for a nominal input of 48 Volts DC input voltage. The voltage range varies from 38 volts DC up to 56 Volts DC. This power supply provides the power outputs which include +5 Volts DC output, +24 Volts DC power output for relay modules, and +24 Volts DC output for isolated modules. The threshold for the combined total of every outputis 30 watts.

The user should consider some important specifications before configuring IC693PWR328. The user should keep a nominal voltage of 48 Volts DC for a range of input Voltage from 38 Volts DC to 56 Volts DC. The user should keep maximum of 50 watts input power at full load. The user can keep output power for 5 Volts DC maximum at 15 watts, 24 Volts DC Relay output maximum at 15 watts, and then 24 Volts DC isolated output at maximum 20 watts. The output voltage for 5 Volts DC is 5.0 to 5.2 Volts DC (5.1 Volts DC nominal). For 24 Volts DC Relay it is 24 Volts DC to 28 Volts DC, and for 24 Volts DC isolated it is 21.5 to 28 Volts DC. The protective limits for overvoltage and overcurrent for 5 Volts DC are 6.4V to 7V and 4A maximum respectively, with a holdup time of 14ms minimum. The power and current input calculations for the power supply use the least input voltage for determining the highest input current and allow a 10-20% margin for variations.
