Product Description

The IC693PWR325 is a GE Fanuc 90-30 series input power supply unit weighing 2 pounds.  The power supply is designed for nominal voltage inputs of 24 VDC or 48 VDC at a power rating of 30 Watts. The power supply can accept an input voltage range from 18 VDC to 56 VDC. Although it can maintain all outputs within specifications with input voltages as low as 18 VDC, it will not start with initial input voltages of less than 21 VDC.

The power supply delivers an output voltage of +5 VDC & +24 VDC relay power output that powers the circuits on Alspa C80–35 Output Relay modules and isolated 24 VDC output.  The isolated 24 VDC can be used to power some input modules. Furthermore, the power supply records an inrush current of 4A peak, 100 ms maximum. It has an overvoltage of 5 VDC output: 6.4 to 7 V and an overcurrent of 5 VDC output: 4 A maximum.

Customer Questions and Answers

  • Question:  What is an IC693PWR325?  Answer:  The IC693PWR325 is a Standard Power Supply. This module is a 30 watt output supply designed for 24 VDC or 48 VDC nominal inputs. It will accept an input voltage range from 18 VDC to 56 VDC. Although it is capable of maintaining all outputs (within specifications) with input voltages as low as 18VDC, it will not start with initial input voltages of less than 21 VDC.
  • Question:  How many outputs does this power supply provide?  Answer:  The IC693PWR325 provides 3 outputs.
  • Question:  What are those outputs?  Answer:
    • +5 VDC output
    • +24 VDC "Relay" power output, which provides power to circuits on Series 90-30 Output Relay modules.
    • "Isolated" +24 VDC, which is used internally by some modules and can also be used to provide external power for 24 VDC Input modules.
  • Question:  What is the load capacity for IC693PWR325?  Answer:  30 watts
  • Question:  How many terminals does this power supply have?  Answer:  In previous versions of this power supply, it had 5 terminals on the terminal block. The new version has six terminals (It is functionally the same.). The change was made to conform to European EC requirements.
  • Question:  Where should the power supplies be installed?  Answer:  Power supplies must be installed in the leftmost slot in all baseplates.
  • Question:  What does it mean when the OK light is green?  Answer:  It is referring to the CPU. If the OK light is green it means that the CPU has reported back that it is in a fully functional mode.
  • Question:  How can I tell if my IC693PWR325 is not working?  Answer:  If your PWR or OK light is not on, if the power supply is excessively loud, if the PS PORT is not blinking, or if your RUN light does not come on when you have the module running then your product may need repair.
