Product Description

The GE Fanuc IC693MDL754 is a positive logic output module. It is available with a voltage rate of 12/24 V from a DC supply. Each module comes with 32 output points. These points groups into two separate 16 output points. Each group finds its utilization for driving different loads. If one group drives a 12V load from DC supply, then the other group will drive the 24V load. The output current from this module is 0.75 A per each point. This module also consumes the power of 300 mA from 5V bus situated on its backplane. The IC693MDL754 has an auto-recovery feature. This feature gives protection to the module against the short circuit, over temperature, and current.

The IC693MDL754 module has 32 yellow/green LEDs. They indicate the switching status of each output point. Green LEDs indicate that the output points are switched on. Otherwise, if the output points have an off status, then there are no indications from the LEDs. Yellow LEDs indicate whenever there is a fault in the output points. The IC693MDL754 module consists of a DIP switch. They are located on its rear end. The DIP switch carries out the default operation for its output circuits. Also, this module can send 16 bits status data into the CPU. The load 30V DC causes the start of thermal de-rating of the output. At an ambient temperature above 42°C, the output of this module is de-rated. The response time for switching on and off of the module is 0.5 msec.
