Product Description

The IC693MDL748 is a 24/48-volt DC Positive Logic with a 0.5 Amp Output module programmable logic controller. It offers eight output points in a single class group with an ordinary power input terminal. IC693MDL748 powers a current to the output devices from the user positive power bus. The output devices are linked to the negative power bus and the modules. This output has features that are suitable for many supplied output devices which include motor starters, solenoids and status indicators. The power to enable the output device to work should be supplied by the user.

The module consists of LED indicators that indicate the on & off status of each module. The indicators are arranged in two Horizontal rows having 8 green LEDs in each row. IC693MDL748 utilizes the top row listed as A1 through 8. The row labeled “LED B” at the bottom is not used in this module. Moreover, a red LED labeled “F” on the right and centered between two rows of green LEDs works as a blown fuse indicator. The F indicator comes on in case the fuse is blown. IC693MDL748 consist of two 3.15 Amps fuses where each fuse protects four outputs. The first fuse safeguards the output A1 to A4 while the second one protects output A5 to A8. The first and second fuses are linked to the same positive supply link. There is an insert between the inside and outside of the module hinged cover that fits perfectly. Behind the insert, there is circuit wiring information and its identification information can be written at the front insert. The front left edge has a DC type module blue in color.

In addition, the discrete output module can be set up in any I/O slot of a 5 baseplate in the GE series 30 to 90 modules. The IC693MDL748 power consumption is 60 mA coming from 5 volts bus on the backplane it has an isolation of 1500 volts between the field side and the logic end. The module also has screws that are used while setting up and removing the terminal board. This prevents the terminal board to module link from any kind of damage.
