Product Description

IC693MDL653 is a 24-volt DC Positive/Negative Logic Input module for the Series 90-30 Programmable Logic Controllers. It presents 32 input points grouped into four with each group comprising eight points. The four groups consist of two ordinary pins each are knotted together internally. IC693MDL653 has a maximum of 2 milliseconds for the “on” and “off” response periods. The 32-point input module has both positive and negative features. When linked to a positive logic it drives currents from the input device attached to the positive power and circuit input to the negative bus. The module also gets currents from the input device and transfers them to the positive power bus when conjoined for negative logic. The input features are suitable for many input devices which include; less switches pushbuttons, and electronic proximity switches. The user provides the ability to run the field devices. Most attachments to the input circuits are created from the user’s input devices and using an IC693MDL653 cable together with a 32-point High-Density modules that have a 50-pin Honda connector built on the front of the module.

The GE Fanuc provides prewired cables ending with terminal lugs that contain connectors at one end and wires on the opposite end. IC693MDL653 lack LED indicators for displaying circuit conditions. Further, the module can be set up in an I/O port which has a 5 - 10-slot baseplate in a Series 90-30 PLC system. The module has an Input Current of 7.5 mA (average) at rated voltage. It has input features which entails having an On-state Voltage of 15 volts DC minimum, Off-state Voltage 6 volts DC maximum, On-state Current 4.5 mA minimum and Off-state Current 2 mA maximum. In addition, the highest number of inputs switched on at the same time should be no more than 16.
