The Series 90-30 Series IC693MDL643 manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation is a 24 Volt DC Positive Logic, FAST, 16 Point Input module. This module provides a single group of 16-point inputs with power input terminals common for the group. The IC693MDL643 features an input display which supports various configurations. On field, the device operates on a user-supplied power or via Isolated +24VDC supply powering limited inputs.
The ON/OFF state of every point is provided by LED indicators which are situated on top of the module. The block of LEDs consists of eight green LED’s organized in two horizonal rows. The top row in numbered A1 through A8, representing points 1 through 8. The bottom row is marked B1 through B8, representing points 9 through 16. The information for wiring the circuit is on the inside surface of the module door panel, whereas the information for identifying the module-type is present on the opposite side. The low-voltage module is indicated by a blue color-coded scheme marked outside of the left side edge of the insert. This insert fits between inside and the outside surface of the door panel. The Series 90-30 PLC system is installed in baseplates of either 5 or 10 slots. The IC693MDL643 can be positioned in any of the I/O slots.
The IC693MDL643 has a 24 VDC voltage rating, 16 inputs for each module, and a 7mA input current at the module’s voltage rating. All inputs have 5mA power consumption via 5 volts and 120mA power consumption from the isolated voltage of 24-volt power supply.
