Product Description

The GE Fanuc IC693MDL350 is 120/240V AC 16 point isolated output module which provides 16 individually isolated points. This module only uses an AC power source to operate the output loads. The output current is 2.0A per point. The rated voltage for the IC693MDL350 is 120/240V AC. The power consumption from this module is around 315mA from 5V bus.

The IC693MDL350 is equipped with a DIP switch at the back of the module which determines how the CPU operates when the CPU is in the stop mode. This switch is used to select the default mode. Two DIP switches are used on the module wherein only the upper switch is used. Hence, this switch facilitates turning off the output whenever the communication with the CPU is lost. When this happens, the switch will be in the right position. When the switch is in the left position, the output retains the programmed value. While operating the IC693MDL350, proper external fuses must be used to avoid short-circuiting.

The LED indicators are used to indicate the presence of a removable terminal block. The LED indicator will glow green when the terminal block is present otherwise LED will glow red, which means the terminal block is absent. To protect the output against the electrical noise, the IC693MDL350 provides high-level noise immunity which minimizes the need for external snubbers. The output of this module influences the wide range of incandescent or inductive loads.
